this might piss some people off, but i am totally disgusted with the people living in orange county right now. everywhere i go there are 'yes on 8' signs and rallys, nearly every major intersection on my path to work is crowded with zealots. if you weren't aware, the ca supreme court made same sex marriage leagl early this year, or maybe late

Seconding the outrage. My thing is, with so much hate in the world, if two people who happen to be of the same gender can find happiness together, who is the rest of the world to deny them it?

If Prop 8 does pass...well...maybe we just need another five years worth of open minds, and Prop 8 itself will be repealed. I'd say given another ten years and this discrimination issue will be put down altogether and the homosexual community will have the rights it deserves.

The thing that kills me about these protesters, and really all fundamentalist whackoes in general, is that most religions make a pretty clear point about judgment belonging to a higher power. "Judge not, lest ye be judged." Most protesters seem to think that means, "Judge not, unless you believe what I believe, which is the only thing that is right in the first place."

God, it makes me wish a Buddhist, Hindu or Taoist was running for President. You don't see THEM out picketing abortion clinics or yelping about same sex marriage. Besides, as Daniel Tosh said best, "I'm all for gay marriage. Just the IDEA of having a man around the house is great" ;)
