For however long he has them, Jack needs this respite with real friends and a faithful lover to recover from all that has happened to him recently. I'm glad you were there to give them back.

Thank you! I'm glad you like it. This seems to be a recurring pattern in Jack's life. He's forced to make impossible choices (like his dilemma with the fairies) and ends up being the one who is hurting the most. It looked so unfair, that I decided to give him some reprieve and comfort. After the disaster with Lisa, Ianto is more than able to understand him.

Thank you so much for this bonus chapter. It fits so nicely.

Jack will always feel the guilt surrounding his actions with Stephen, but, it helps & is comforting to now have Ianto back at his side, knowing what it has cost him to take such an action. And, Ianto knows exactly what to say to somewhat ease his pain.

Thank you for your nice comment. What happened with his grandson was so devastating. Jack would certainly do with some confort after so much pain and sorrow and who better than Ianto could provide it?

I can't promise anything, but I intend to make the most of my holidays to start writing a little piece of AU in the Torchwood fandom. I hope you'll like it.

Merci de ton commentaire :D. Je suis contente que ça t'ait plu. Hart n'est pas si mauvais, quand il veut bien s'en donner la peine. Une petite précision toutefois, c'est dans le fond de son verre qu'il regarde lol. Il a l'esprit tordu (et moi aussi parfois), mais quand même ;D.

Quand on a beaucoup perdu, on apprend à se contenter de l'essentiel.
