My friend is having a real hard year. Her cat, Albert died, her car is having major, mysterious problems, and her new cat, Noelle, likely needs to have a $1000+ surgery to fix a porlapsed anus. Details here

You're awesome! Thank you for the signal boost! I called the agencies on the financial assistance list given to me by my vet, and they have either folded or only serve a limited geographic region, i.e. L.A. county or San Diego county; I don't live in either of those counties.
Declined for CareCredit due to "insufficient income"...no co-signers available.

You're welcome. I know how awful it is to be in that situation. I only wish we could help more. And it REALLY sucks that the places you've sought help from aren't able to/are unwilling to. :(

I think a few of them folded because they ran out of funds; donations were down due to the shitty economy =(
