This is neither the Daryl Dixon story I started writing nor a Daryl Dixon story I meant to write. But I’m trying to keep the flow up and ridiculous crossover porn is one way to do that. Sunday Funday indeed.

Of course Daryl would remain totally unimpressed by Brad and of course Brad wouldn't think much of him. Daryl is too smart to even try to play their game. He knows that the safest place for him is right on the edge, far enough to remain unseen when he wants to, close enough for safety, close enough to get all the good things.

And for all that Daryl is a survivor, sometimes that mentality plays against him. He's not that good at judging non life or death situations. Nothing comes free for him, not even those like Nate who just want some peace and quiet, some time off from being themselves.

And I love the sense of utter desolation and isolation get from the story. Here's nothing but what's in front of them. Terrifiying.

Absolutely. In fact, I imagine at this point he doesn't even really like Nate that much, since he is leader of All the Pains in Daryl's Ass.

Thank you. I'll never get sick of that dropped-stomach feeling.
