GK fic: Long Winding Road

So I wrote Long Winding Road in the GK Battle. Duh for anyone who’s ever read anything by me, ever. Except for the part where I somehow wrote 7k of more-or-less gen. I don’t really know how that happened. Does between-the-lines stuff count as gen? There is a lot of that here. What there is not a lot of is B/R, which is what I meant to do, since

In the frozen foods aisle Ray smiles through the glass at a box of ice cream sandwiches, murmuring, “Hello, breakfast,” in a voice that’s pretty close to seductive.

I laughed so hard at this. Now can Ray take me on a road trip?
