GK snippet: FWB

This is a thing I wouldn't mind expanding on, since I love love love the idea of breaking up and being okay with that, but I also kind of like this the way it is, tiny snapshots. Maybe I will revisit the theme sometime.

Why must you write things that are hot which make me sad?? IT IS NOT FAIR! I love how well they know each other and how that makes it better for them. BUT IT HURTS MY HEART THAT THEY ARE NOT TOGETHER ANYMORE!! ~feather~

Jesusfuck. I think that's the hottest thing I've ever read. Points for describing the scorching hotness that is post-breakup sex.

“Slut,” Brad says fondly. “You fucking love my fingers.”
Heh. In my world this is TRUFAX.

I love this verse. lovelovelove. They way they are so comfortable with each other, with their bodies. That they know exactly how to push each others buttons, but it's not a thing.

The detail about the fishtank was fantastic, the familiarity.

Oh man, I would love to see anything else you've got concerning this :)

Holy wow! That's a compliment!

Although I like this the way it is (I think) I love the idea of Brad and Nate who are broken up, but totally okay with that, and okay with being fuck buddies. It's maybe too angst-free to sustain for a long story, but I FLOVE IT.

The detail about the fishtank was fantastic, the familiarity.

In my mind, it's canon Brad has saltwater fishtank that he is sort of fanatical about. It appeals to his love of rules and preciseness. It took a long time before Nate was allowed to feed those fish, but he has certainly not lost the privilege even with the break-up.

Not that I've thought about it or anything. Thanks for the awesome comment!

It is really oddly hot, isn't it?

Nate buys him a real live starfish for his birthday and Brad is so so so pleased. Nate practically has to pry his face off the glass (except not really. Brad wipes down the tank when he touches it) for his birthday sex.

What Amber said! All of it, exactly. I'd copy and paste it, but that'd look funny.

Hee! I went back and read it again, but in a more Signe way (which was more or less the comment superimposed on Stands' face).

Hah, I thought you'd just read it in an English accent! But I like your version too. *g*

Damn, this is great. Except it's NOT! I don't want to like this! And you can only revisit this theme if they fuck and fuck and fuck and then realize that they still want more, the end, trufax. And yes, my word is rule.

*snort*

Seriously, though? I like this, dammit. It hurts! I don't like that it hurts, but I like it! It's all very conflicting, you see.

Hee! Well, since this is me, I doubt you would get what you want, what with my love of ambiguity and "good" break-ups. But I will take your rule under advisement ;)

You know what kills me? The kissing. For some reason the fact that they're so happy kissing each other after the break up hurts more than their breaking up. They aren't supposed to be kissing like that if they're not together anymore, but they obviously didn't get the memo.

I'm intrigued and confused. Yay!
