looking in the mirror the other day, i realized that it has been a long time since i've had a hickey (hickie?).
that makes me happy.

A few weeks ago, I think, one of my brothers had come home from work and he was standing in the kitchen talking to my parents. I came in and saw this big, red, blotchy patch on his neck/shoulder, so after staring at it for a while I interrupted him.
"What is that?" (I thought it was a rash or something)
"Um? Uh, that's a bite mark."
"From what?" I replied incredulously.
Everyone else in the room started laughing.
