i have accomplished a goal today!

i decided to apply for the JET Programme a month or two ago. for those of you who do not know what the JET Programme is, here's a lil brochure (big PDF). ;) for those of you who are too lazy to load and read it, it is a program sponsored/ran by various parts of the Japanese government that brings college graduates

One of my friends applied for JET (I think it was JET, anyway)... he managed to get an interview, but didn't end up getting in after that. But his Japanese wasn't that great or anything, you're probably better. Anyway, this sounds like the perfect thing for you to do, so I wish you good luck. :D

Omigawwwd!

I remember back in highschool all the anime fans were so lame and we worshipped thr JET program as the kewlest thing evaaaar. Everyone'd be like "oh man, my sister's off in Japan on that prgram and she gets to like, watch all of the newest anime, like, aaaallll of the time!!!!"

Yeaaah... we were kinda gay, but damn, still, sounds like tons'o' fun! Good luck, chicka!
