Because of the flareup I've been freaking out about how I can't seem to get to bed before my internal clock thinks that it is midnight. However, I've been waking up no problem 8.5 hours later when the sun is nice and high, and that I love. Time changes are so disorienting ( Read more... )

Yay walking! You can do it!

I sprained my left ankle rescuing puppies from a burning building. (sounds much better than stepping on it funny, doesn't it?) That's both ankles in 6 months. I need to get serious about core strengthening and balance.

Good luck with the physical. Tell Dr. King I said Hi. I like my new doc, but she's no Dr. King.

Ankle sprains suck. Is good that you recognize how they are related to core strength issues.

When your ankle is healed enough to consider exercising, I seriously recommend PT if you can get a prescription for it. When I was rehabilitating my feet and ankles they were saying that PT for even minor ankle sprains can help prevent repeat injuries. Increases strength, teaches your body better habits and to unlearn some bad ones. Good luck!
