omigosh, I will TOTALLY have to check your GO fic out once my week of hell is over. And I want to say congrats on finishing it! :D

And and and omg again because JS&MN is one of my favorite books. I feel like I have to say congrats one more time. That book is a MONSTER. It took me half a year to finish it, mostly because Mr. Norrel's half was a bit of trial for me to get through, but once it hits Strange's part, I was ZOOMING through it. AHHH, it's so wonderful. You should definitely look into reading Ladies of Grace Adieu next. It takes place in the same 'verse and has some lovely Raven King bits (and Wellington, hee).

Thank you! I usually get so defeated by writer's block around 20000 words, so this is a pretty big feat for me. :D

AHHH YES. Once I got to Strange, I was like "I LOVE THIS MAN" and the rest of the book flew by way too fast. I have Ladies of Grace Adieu on my bookshelf right now! It's pretty high on my list of things to read. And the Raven King and Wellington? That's all the incentive I need.

Grats! :D

I promise to take a look at it, though whether I can only read it after my papers is questionable ;)

Oooooh, Good Omens! I haven't read any Crowley and Aziraphale in ages, and I ADORE them, so. Yay! *puts Chess on list*

Also, JS&MN IS THE MOST AMAZING, RIGHT? It is a beast of a book, but oh man, I loooove the eerie dry chill of it, and the dryness, and the footnotes, and the maaaagic! And the CHARACTERS. *rolls in book forever*

IT IS DEFINITELY THE MOST AMAZING. GUH. The footnotes and characters (Childermass in particular. ♥) and magic and the Raven King and HOW CAN I POSSIBLY MISS THIS BOOK ALREADY.

In conclusion, 1000 pages = way too short.

MINE TOO. And yes, Ladies of Grace Adieu is high on my to-read list. In fact, it's staring at me from my bookshelf right now.
