I knew it had to happen some day, but I am sad, sad, sad.

And no Irish whiskey in the house to drink to your new life...

we know that he's at peace now. it is still a horrible day, but any pain he might have had is gone.

when i find out where they lay him to rest i will pay my respects.

Should I ever come to your place I'll do that too.

I think I found the reason why the colonel wants to breed white roses when he's retired. P's family moved to Sheffield, which is in Yorkshire...In the 15th century, the Duke of York, father of kings Edward IV and Richard III, was banned to Ireland by Henry VI's Queen, Margaret of Anjou. He proved to be an able and just administrator whom the Irish cherished, and during the Wars of the Roses and afterwards they stayed firmly on the side of the White Rose of York.

i am watching that episode of columbo now--of course.

i found also that the paddy was at a hospital called st. john's, in santa monica, and that he went peacefully. i posted the information to colony three as well.

i hope you are well. i know that i am weeping on and off since i found out.

I can only hope that his passing was peaceful and that he's in a better place now. He's left behind quite a legacy that many of us will cherish for years and years to come. Rest in peace, Patrick McGoohan. You will always be my hero.
