I'm angry and I'm crying! I read that article in your link and I'm so fucking mad and sad and....*searching for words* God, how can there be so much hatred and ignorance... I've never heard the complete story before, just pieces of it you know....I remember it was on the news briefly here as well back then...
I will send this to all my friends and family right away! Thanks for showing the link, even if it made me cry... *huggles tight*

*hugs*

It made me so sad and angry too. I googled his name when I saw this popping up all over my flist and that was one of the first links I went to, and I had to post the link. I know it's sad, so utterly tragic and wrong, but I think it's important, and there was something positive to be taken away from the article too, I think.

*huggles you so, so tight* What angered me the most at the time was how they wouldn't even leave his loved ones alone at the funeral. They showed up they, yelling that he deserved it and that he'll rot in hell. I swear, I can't grasp how people can be that full of hatred... *cling to you for comfort*

*hugs* It's so awful. People sometimes just make me so sick, or sad, or both. I can't believe they went to the funeral to do such hateful things.

Makes you wonder, right? How much of it is really about homosexuality if the guy is dead and how much is it simply about airing your anger and frustrations in a way which seems acceptable to them. *hugs back* Thanks for posting this, hun!
