Actually, I bet the chances of death by tea-cosy are much higher than that. Apparently 11 people died in Britain alone a few years ago from putting on their socks (I really did read this, in a magazine with odd death statistics). If that can happen, there are bound to be a few tea-cosy deaths somewhere in the world, too.
