Due to some completely unexplainable problem with my unit outline not showing anything on the last page, I did not see the topics for my P111 assignment until today. We all know the Senate was hostile, but why was it? That's where you talk about Labor Senators being replaced with Non-Labor Senators.
The Governor-General withdrew Whitlam's commission, but the House of Representatives also passed a vote of no-confidence in Malcolm Fraser, something usually conveniently overlooked.
Also the Government still had enough money to continue for another couple of weeks.
And there were a few more scandals running around that discredited Whitlam's government.
Not all of it is completely straightforward. Though I do agree, everyone will do that question. Personally, I'm leaning towards topic 3, you know how much I like the High Court ;)
