Jewelry Stuffs

Well, I spent my day off working on my website for the store. I re-built it from the "ground" up several months back. I don't put many of my works on the site because it is time consuming and takes a lot to manage, at least the e-commerce part, and truly most people aren't all for buying higher end jewelry via the net. But for a long time I have ( Read more... )

Although, I'm thinking that maybe your collection could use...I don't know, a lotus inspired piece? Hehe, just to throw a random idea there ;)

Hehe, yep. I haven't forgotten about that. I have actually started on the project several times and just never been satisfied with my work. Temperamental artist thing ;)

Very beautiful! Did you know that some of your pieces have their prices reflected, and some don't? I don't know if that's intentional but maybe you would want to have consistency.

Yep, I did know that. The ones (and I think it is currently one one piece) that has a price is still available for purchase. All the others are sold or were comissioned pieces. I don't put the prices on those items for various reasons.

Thank you!

The tourmalinated quartz and onyx necklace is stunning. I love, love it! And the "Autumn" piece, and the lavender bracelet...I could go on and on.

Seriously, those pieces are fantastic. :)

I love working with tourmalinated quartz, it is such a neat stone. I had so much fun with those beaded pieces, I went through a beading phase one summer when I couldn't afford much in the way of metals.

I liked your older site too, but I think you did a good job on this one. It looks more updated and it feels like you put a lot more up there then what was on before. Btw/I LOVE the moonstone pieces you did. I bought a moonstone ring in Galena and it is one of my most favorite things. I think the site thus far definitely showcases your talents!

Yeah, the last layout was a modified template and there were somethings I couldn't change, which I hated. I actually created two layouts before deciding on the one that is up now. I went really fancy and then decided it was best that I keep the layout simple and concentrate on jewelry making, lol.

I also love moonstone! It is one of my favorites. I have several pieces of the ones that have all sorts of fibers inside but still have a nice blue flash. When I found these awesome stones at my last show I fell in love. I have only seen such clean moonstones in my GIA books and courses. People love them. Moonstone jewelry always flies out the door.

Thanks! That may be the oldest piece on there. I haven't done bead work in awhile.
