Loved Ruth in this episode.

She is definitely Mama Bear, has been for a long while :D

Home Secretary I think is after her professionally (I HOPE so, anyway... *shudders at thought*)

Loved Harry and Ruth back to a gentle flirting and comraderie, very sweet to see!

Harry and Ruth bingo sounds fun! Let's see...

The Home Sec wants to steal her away and give her a promotion. While I approve of the promotion, he's a bad Home Sec for trying to steal her from Harry!

(Sort of OT: I've started re-watching S2 - and was amused to death last night to discover Benedict Cumberbatch in 2.01, in one of his earliest TV roles. Alas that Ruth doesn't turn up until later in S2!)

I'd remembered the character being a weaselly little git, but hadn't known who Benedict Cumberbatch was at the time I watched it 2 years ago!

I loved Ruth in this episode, but I need to see more of her!

Missing scenes between Ruth and Harry? Ah, that's a good idea, I'd say 'no' to be cautious, but why not after all? I think they're back to being friendly/flirty with each other, which is GOOD! *shipper*

Hmm, the Home Sec is really dodgy, isn't he? I have no idea what he wants, what I do guess is it's going to mess things up between Ruth and Harry eventually.

Nicola is gorgeous, I love her clothes and shorter hair! :D

"Mama Bear" for the win! True, she didn't get to analyse much this week.

I agree! There was not enough Ruth in this episode!
