I can't say exactly what's going to happen, because I don't want to spoil the story! But I WILL say that they ARE going to eventually get back together, even though it won't be an easy road for them.

(I'll also say that the guy who Greg is dating now isn't an evil monster -- he actually turns out to be a very nice guy.)
