“Your feet are cold…”

“Shut up,” replies Greg, face pressed in to Nick’s neck so his words are muffled. He rubs his cold toes against Nick’s and contemplates how that man can always be so damn warm, like he’s constantly carrying around the Texan sun in his skin.

“Your couch is too small…”

“Shut up,” comes Greg’s muffled reply again.

Nick sighs and holds Greg closer, tighter, though it’s more to stop them both from tumbling on to the floor than just to be close. But he doesn’t mind being close anyway. Greg’s couch is small, though. It’s also cheap, old, ratty and smells a lot like beer and a chemical Nick hasn’t quite put his finger on yet. Maybe Greg will tell him one day in a game of ‘Name That Chemical Compound’, though its hard for Nick to play that game and not think about licking at the marker on Greg’s fingertips more than the chemical he’s suppose to be guessing. Greg has beautiful fingers, and they’re currently tucked neatly in the hollow of Nick’s chest, bunching his sports sweater. He doesn’t mind, though. He rather

Greg sighed and pointed at the one further down the page.
"That one?"
Nick made a funny little noise and wrinkled his nose. Greg rolled his eyes and clicked the 'Next' option. A new page came up and they both didn't say anything for some time.
"That one!"
"That one!"
They said at the same time and were pointing at the same as well. Nicky did a little 'victory' dance and Greg did a "YES!" pose. Greg grinned as he clicked and added the cockroach to the online basket. Who knew that it would be so difficult to agree on a wedding gift for Grissom and Sara.
