Plans today changed only slightly as we missed the free chocolate tasting and instead did a "watch a bit of this tv pilot and tell us what you think" deal, which involved a proposed show on Discovery about celebrities/famous people investigating their personal family history. Went to see Pirates with Kate (not tarzanic) tonight. A few ramblings under the cut. General first, then specific, so if you want to avoid spoilers, you can safely peruse until you hit the direct (non-spoilery) mention of the first few scenes.

No matter how cold it is, there's no need to cover your face, neck, or head as long as you're wearing a coat with a furry hood.

Corollary 1: This is true at any time you are wearing the coat - there is no actual need to have the furry hood up, nor for the coat to be zipped all the way.
