Since you have Rodney being nearly dragged to the infirmary, you could have Carson treat him professionally. Then, when Rodney's been released after the arm's stitched up (or whatever), you can have Carson track him down so that they can actually talk instead of Rodney trying to avoid him. If they're good friends like "Sunday" seems to imply, Carson's not about to let Rodney get away with completely ignoring him and avoiding him. If nothing else, Carson would want to make sure that Rodney knows how he felt about it -- if he's embarrassed, or he didn't mind it, or he still thinks of Rodney as a friend.

Actually that fic is already completely written - in German. I'm just about to translate it, which really is a major pain in the brain and the ass...

And I've some sort of sequel already in mind... Gee, I wish the day had more hours or I had a secretary. Aaaaaah.
