I'm glad you liked it. This line was the first I had in my head and I built the rest around it.
I don't know, if he asked Fornell for help (or maybe even 'Corporal Punishment') but I like the idea that he did ... There is no way he would let Jack stay home without protection.

Oh, I really like this idea!!! I haven't think about Fornell!!! I'm sure Gibbs didn't let his father unprotected, and I really like the idea of Fornell taking care of him!!!

I was so sure that Gibbs would have organized protection for his father (and that's why I didn't care much about the last scene at all *g*). I don't know, if it's Fornell or someone else, but I like to believe it's our favorite FBI agent. Guess, we will see in episode 8.01.
