Love it! And as weird as that sound, throughout the story I kept thinking of how it would be interesting if in this backstory of yours, Jenny's mother had taken the bribe somehow and blamed it on Jasper Shepard...and eventually killed him when he found out, or something.
I know, I know... I have a dark, scary mind XD

I mean, I dislike Violet and she is evil, so why not taking the money and killing Jasper? Maybe she even felt for La Grenouille ... *g* We should keep that in mind for another story ...
