watching a lot of brides try on dresses can be soul killing at times, though

❝ Perhaps love is the process of my leading you gently back to yourself. Not whom I want you to be, but to who you are. ❞

I love everything about that quote. Maybe it's not what love should be, or needs to be, for everyone, but it's beautiful to those of us who could use a love that makes us not only happy with the person we've chosen to be with ( Read more... )

Aww, that's a lovely quote. But somehow it kind of makes me feel lonely. I wonder why? (laughs)

Yay for external fan! It's really handy in keeping the battery too. Good luck with all your applications! I'll be praying for 'em. :) Your LJ profile and Shoneen's new LJ layout are so damn adorbs. (squishes both) ...Except I can't squish xylophones.

Take your time with everything and go with your own pace, hmm?

It makes me feel lonely too. Only because I need someone, I think. :)

I would squish a xylophone if I could. I played them, and marimbas, and steel drums for years in school. Too expensive to own one myself, but. Yeah, I miss 'em. ♥

Will do! :D

♥ One of my favourite people. :D You can handle whatever comes at you.

By the by, what external fan did you buy? My Macbook's been making traumatising whoooooshing noises indicative of overheating and it's scary. [skurddskurd]

Ditto~ ♥

Ooooh. I got this thing... erm... called TARGUS. I totally just picked it up at Wal-Mart for 25 bucks and it works perfectly. Just plug it in to a usb slot and it does the job.

And yeah, macbooks are sort of known for overheating, especially in their later years. But an external fan can beat that! \o/

I am having a love affair with your tumblr. The picture with the stop light at yellow n the middle of the road, where was that taken?

Thanks! I'm posting things daily, stuff that's kicking around my hard drive, so keep checking on it. :)

That was taken only a few days ago, actually! On the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia. The building at the center in the distance with "RENOIR" displayed is the Philadelphia Art Museum.

I lived at home during college too, in order to save money, and went to a relatively local state school (45 min. commute). For me, it was the perfect choice, despite how annoying and frustrating and maddening it could be to live at home during that time. I wouldn't change a thing if I had to do it over again. I hope that your experience is as positive.*hug*

I only wish I'd recognized my need to do it sooner, before I wracked up so much debt! But I won't stress. ♥ And thank you!

"But I won't stress."

Wise!

Any idea if you're going to pursue film studies still? Sorry if I missed a memo on that.

I think it will be something relatively close to that, yeah. Want my credits to transfer! Haha. But I'm not exactly sure what yet.

I'm meeting with a counselor from the University tomorrow morning to discuss options, so! :)

That layout is ace!

♥ to everything in this post. Take care this summer - I hope the job and college and everything works out.

w.r.t the June contest, I've a gdoc full of half-baked ideas that just aren't taking shape, which really bums me out because I really want to participate! :x

Thanks! I'm looking forward to a busy but fulfilling summer. That's my goal!

And awww. If you manage something, great! If not, you won the last one, yeah? ;D ♥
