Weggis Weekend
It was a lovely idea - a quick one night stay by a lake to start the school holidays. A hotel with beautiful views, a sunset, meal by the water etc, swim the next morning in the hotel ppol.
Reality - we leave Zurich too late (mostly beacuse I was trying to stop working, it rains, a wet sail on lake vierwaldetättersee, no chance to eat outside, and the hotel pool is closed for renovation!
On the plus side? A funny family meal in the local chinese restaurant. Amazing views from the boat when it stopped raining, including a rainbow.
And a lovely morning spent in Lucerne the following day, before returning home.
