since the Carnegie has many galleries, and a little newly renovated theatre, people are always coming by to check it out. we're in the main gallery, which has 2 entrances from the street, so people walk through all the time. the show isn't all hung yet, and already pieces are selling. that amuses. no, i don't know which... i heard this through the ( Read more... )

i bet it'll look even better when it's all hung! ;) i saw all the work, and there is some REALLY nice stuff in this show. i am going to take my camera, if i remember to charge the battery. i think it's gonna be fun.

i am excited to see it hanging and all finished! =)

So is this a "dress up" sort of opening or can we just come looking all normal-like? I'm definitely coming. Might not make it right at six cuz I'm bringing the bf and he doesn't usually get off until 6. He's going to try and get off early. We'll see. So, yeah, do we need to dress nice?

yay! =) i will get to meet the BF AND see you. hee hee fun!

and you don't have to get uber fancy, but if you feel like an excuse to dress up, people will be dressed up there! i am going to pseudo dress up. ;) i might even *gasp* wear makeup. haha. eyeshadow, anyway. damn it i lost my favorite lip stuff today. grrr.

i guess i gotta get a new tube at walgreens (oooh big spender). cocoa burt's bees lol.

i'm sure that'll be just fine! i wore my ensemble for the opening to work today... so i have to wear a little jacket over it. so hoooot. melting from heat...

hopefully it will look even better! cos it will have... labels! and... hopefully RED DOTS! whee!

i know david w. has sold some already. i would love to see a lil red dot next to one of my pieces. it's time my work started staring at someone else.

at the same time, i loves those pieces, and would like to make about 19 more to have a show of them.
