Yay! I'm glad everything worked out. I feel like joining Mike in a little moonwalking after finishing this fic.

I'm so glad Sam came to tell him that Quinn still wanted him in her life. And I'm actually glad that Quinn didn't just come out and say that she loves Mike too, it makes it more realistic that she's still not comfortable saying that yet.

This is one of the many examples of why you're one of my favourite fanfic writers.

I just about cried.

So good. I love how quiet these two are but manage to get in sync. Great job at showing mike's patience and total understanding. And I'm glad that nothing was forced because it shows that they worked it out before jumping into anything.

"She shrugs one delicate shoulder and looks down into her wallet. "I could use the extra caffeine today. I was up all night,"

That line was like the best summation of the fic.

Oh, I love the bits that you pulled out, so I'm so happy that you enjoyed them.

I didn't want them to have a "perfect" happy ending; I like that they still have growth to do. I'm not a big fan of fics that tie everything up so quickly and neatly that it's no longer realistic; unfortunately, that's what a lot of people prefer to read. As such, I'm so happy that you like it this way!

(I was just going to leave that as a comment and I know that you of all people would understand...)

But also, I love Sam for stepping in when it was necessary, especially since he was the one friend of Quinn's who was so on the fence about that relationship to begin with. He's a good friend.

And I really love how simply they came back together, how Mike didn't force her to tell him anything because he knew she'd do it when she was ready. Also how simply Quinn explained things to him. It didn't have to be some big, dramatic retelling of her entire life's story. It really came down to being scared to let herself feel the same things again, which makes total sense for someone with her past.

Lovely. And as usual I can't wait to read what you write next.

(Also...Mike Chang, though.)

I absolutely would have understood "Mike Chang" as the comment and loved it all the same.

I think it could get really schmoopy and weird, rehashing Quinn's past when it includes a teen pregnancy (which, in AU, it wouldn't always), and I didn't want to do that. I'm happy to hear that it was navigated at least reasonably well!
