I had a feeling that the Beth situation was going to come into play as soon as Quinn said that Ohio is where she made all of her mistakes. She's running because she's feeling too much for him, which is just perfect Characterizationfor Quinn.

I really hope Mike can convince her to just let herself love him in the next part, or that Quinn will realise just what she's pushing away.

The title of this fic is just perfect, especially after this part. Wow.

I mean, the most painful thing about this is that Mike is so blindsided by it. Not only by her dumping him, but by her showing so much emotion and totally breaking down. I think up until now he's had a pretty idealized version of her in his head, and as much as she could blame him for that, she really shouldn't. It's what she's wanted him to see of her. She's only shown him what she knew would make him like her. At least that's how I see it.

I do get why she is breaking up with him, for sure. It's silly, obviously, because there are ways to take a relationship slowly instead of just ending it all together, but in her head it makes sense, and I get that.

Still. Mike Chang, though...

I like it when things that are wrong make sense. It makes it harder to be mad at someone (even if they deserve it).
