I loved the little turn around on the whole slushie/making out thing. You turned it perfectly to suit this story. Rachel turning him down at first was a genuis move and then him getting distracted by her necklace and that being the thing that led to them making out was perfect.
Oh, and Puck's session with Dr. Berry? Kind of broke my heart. He's so damaged by what happened to him. But Rachel can see that he has potential to be more and he obviously really likes that so I can't wait to see where else you go with this!

I haven't even used canon events to suit my purposes quite like this, but I liked the way that it turned out.
Thanks for reading, and I'm glad you're enjoying the story!

Less therapy in this one, but we still learned so much about him. "Puck has poor impulse control" pretty much sums it up, but the fact is that he does sometimes try really hard, and no one ever seems to acknowledge or appreciate it. Knowing that he tried so hard in order to get Quinn to change her mind about the baby...gah, that kills me. And in this verse, they gave her to strangers, which means he'll never see her again, and probably didn't even get to name her. :(
I loved the way you wove in bits of real canon, with even the detail about Puck tucking the straw over his ear. Rachel turning down his "Wanna make out?" cracked me up, and then the actual makeout...hnng.
Love, love, love this story. More soon, please!

When you take away glee club, a lot of things change, and even little things make a big difference. For example, maybe Finn and Rachel would have found their way to each other after the truth of Quinn's pregnancy came out, but without Jesse to prove himself against (because Jesse wouldn't know who Rachel was without glee club), would Finn have ever worked for her affections? Probably not. I could write a "what if glee never happened" story for each character and never get tired of it. People would probably tire of reading them though. :P
Thanks for reading, sweets!

The way you've worked in canon events/phrases is really great. Him using the slushie as a peace offering while asking her to tutor him was sweet. I loved his 'wanna make out?' and her saying yes eventually. Of course he's worried she's more into it than he is, and of course he's more worried about what that'll mean for him with regards to her dad. It's obvious that Puck likes her at least in a friendly way, but also? He notices how soft her hair looks and likes the way she says his name.
Rachel is really sweet with him, too. I loved that she admitted she could see that he wasn't the guy everyone makes him out to be. I think that's kind of huge for him, to not just have someone making a snap judgment. Then again, he's actually making an effort with her, even if his motives aren't great.
Idek what I'm saying at this point. I just really love this and I would like to read more, when you post it. :)
