Got a phone call from my dad today. Yesterday one of our cats got run over. Vets said she was DOA. She was only 6.

Worst part is she was sulking at us for getting the kittens. I never saw her the last time I visited my dad.

It's funny, you have outdoor cats in a town surrounded by motorways and busy roads, but you never think it's actually going to happen.

Still, sounds like it was quick, so hopefully she didn't suffer too much.
