It sounds like you had a great time! Everything mentioned above seems incredibly shiny! Plus you got a bag and then *another* bag? Wow. Now they're just showing off...

A PhD in Quantum Computing, eh? Yep. That definitely sounds like something an evil genius would like to study to further their efforts for world domination. So right up your alley, then. *grin* Just remember whilst you're 'wasting your youth' in this invigorating discipline - the suffer will just make sure you'll be a more driven evil genius at the end of it all, which is really what's important here.

And I'd like to know what's so wrong with a good, "oh yeah!" when the occasion calls. Certainly better than "blimey" anyway. What does that word even mean?!?

Nothing wrong with an "oh yeah" just it was funny that the rest of us were embarrassed enough as it was, you know what with geeks and public displays of rhythm, and you could just *see* the same thought going through everyones head :D

Bilmey is a contraction in a euphamism in a contraction. The original phrase was "god blind me if it is not so" which was shortened to "god blind me" and then euphamised to "cor blimey" so as to not take any names in vain. The it was further shortened to Blimey. Its an exlaimation of surprise, in between "gosh" and "bloody hell" on the rude-o-meter.

I would like to argue that the "oh yeah"-er was perhaps, even, more geeky than the rest of you lot. Only she was more comfortable in her geekiness and embraced the awkward of the situation by, in fact, adding more awkward to it.

Yep. That's my logic and I'm sticking to it.

And the stuff on Blimey is actually, well... really awesome.

Damn yee, British awesomeness! *shakes fist at*
