OK, so it's obviously a mammal, but what is it? It almost looks like a primitive primate? Perhaps the most primitive living primate? Do you know?

it's a lemur and the best thing about it is it has a super long middle finger to pluck grubs out of trees, making it also super good at flipping people off.

So it is a primitive primate :) Lemurs are pretty cool. There are many species of them living on Madagascar. Believe it or not, we're closely related to that guy :) Have you read 'Why Evolution is True' by Jerry Coyne? It's a good read (if you like that sort of thing anyway). Darwin actually predicted that our ancestors came out of Africa long before fossils of early hominids were ever found. Darwin is one of my heroes, even if he did marry his 1st cousin. LOL.

i had a 'good' post and a 'bad' post, so it just seemed to make sense. since i had nothing particularly ugly to talk about...
