I finished my schedules today a bit earlier than I tought I'll be. Reaching my parents' home, there's no one in the house so I am alone now. It's just 6 p.m, my father hasn't comeback yet from his business in Ireland and my mother usually hangs with her friends to play poker at this time of Saturday. My sister perhaps going on a date with his boyfriend as always.
After take a bath, I redress to go to a café where I have an appoinment with someone. It's Saturday night, and this person is the only one I want to see when every other person on earth probably meet their lover or their closest family and sharing their love. Well, for me, I do feel like I'm going to meet my lover.
I choose my red turtleneck t-shirt and spray my favourite perfume all over my body. I can't help but smiling in front of the mirror imagining this person waiting for me at the café, just to meet me. Only me and nobody else. Not another man. Me. Not that he'll be waiting for me though, but I feel like I'm really glowing tonight, with affection and happiness overload.
7.30 p.m I enter the café. The Dream is our favourite spot to hang out since we were younger. This atmosphere of movies is one of many reasons why we love this place. This café has blocks of closed private sofas with a large plasma screen at the table in the middle. DVD player is below the plasma, and here we could just choose movies we'd like to watch from the DVD room. Thousands of titles and genres, foreign or just Korean, you just have to pick up what you want by call the waitresses. And don't forget about the resto that I really fond of. I could just forget my abs-diet (that's just the way this person I'm going to meet call my healthy diet) whenever I'm here. And we even could go drunk here. Well, it almost never for me, but he seldomly did drunk and collapsed at the sofa so I have to drove him to the dorm. Those beers… This place is so damn great.
Oh this person doesn't come yet, since Chullie, a beautiful waitress who'd always served us here just smile and ask me, "You'd have to wait for him again, I guess." She gives me a card with number 24 printed to it.
"24. You remember his birthday, I guess," I said and smiled back at her.
She blushed as I receive the plastic card and leave for the booth number 24. Chullie has a hard crush since I never know for this person I'm going to meet. My person. That's why we were always served by her, even though many other waitress always trying hard to "stole" us from her. I could only just lagh everytime she's trying hard to flirt that man, but he's just too blind or something for never noticing a girl as beautiful as her a bit. Not that I'm not happpy with that, though.
So, I'm going to wait for him, again. He always goes up late whenever he had an appoinment with me. He's really a fixed person on every single thing, never late on his schedules, works, etc. His daily activities just time-fixed. But when it comes to me, he never once goes on-time. I sigh. Yes it might be hurts. But I don't know why I really don’t mind waiting for him. Never I couraged this to him, though I had spent many hours and hours waiting for him. Never crossed in my mind to ever leave him in anger of waiting or to snap him once he comes. Oh. Perhaps it's because I love him.
Ten minutes of waiting, I hear him approaching booth number 24. But he seems to be talking to a guy.
"What do you think of this place? Siwon and I hang out here even on the first days we met. That time here's only VCDs and TVs, you know. Good old days. "
"Amazing, Hyung. I must brought Hyukkie here sometimes. He obviously will flirt that waitress Chullie," the other man answered.
I freeze on my seat. Lee Donghae has nothing to do with me. What the hell is he doing here? Why in the world he brings Donghae here? Why now, why tonight? And why Donghae?
I feel anger fills up my entire body. I grit my teeth then bit my lip in order to keep that feeling inside.
At that moment, the door of my block opened, showing Yesung hyung and that Lee Donghae both smiling at me.
"Siwon, forgive me for being late again," Yesung hyung said while hugging me. "it's just… this kid…" he smiled and release me, pointing at Donghae.
I smiled back at him. I'm sure he doesn't see this fire in my eyes as he seated himself beside me.
"Ah Siwon, I'm sorry for your date tonight with Yesung hyung! I was all alone at the dorm since Hyukjae hangs with Junsu and Yesung hyung just offers me to join your little party here, I think, why not? That's why I'm coming…"
I blushed at the word "date" Hae used. He saw it and misunderstand. "Oh I really hope you don't mind,"
"It's okay, Hae," I lied, faking a smile. "just take your seat."
And then he slipped in to sit between me and Yesung hyung.
