PHILLIP IS ADORABLE. He owns the deep voice. He really does remind me of L from Death Note. And he's still cute - he just stands there demurely reading or off in space while Shotaro freaks out :D :D

Omg, I instinctively knew I would love this show from the get-go, but I didn't know I would love it *this* much!

I don't even know where to begin! They just set everything up to be awesome and I can see all types of character interactions happening in the future.

And I love, love LOVE how Shotaro and Phillip don't actually merge, the consciousness transfer system seems perfect!

My main theory as to what Philip is at this time? Cyborg. Or some type of psionic who can access the Anima Mundi for information. Either way, I'm stoked!

Also, the bit at the very beginning where Akiko's dad/Shotaro's boss reached out his hand to Phillip while he was in the tube - hints at a prior relationship?

The fact that Pip just faints when he's fighting as Double just makes me glad for him that Daiki hasn't discovered Double's world (yet). :D:

Yeah, I agree with cyborg. Double seems to be referencing Showa quite a bit, and having him be a cyborg would be a very Showa-ish thing to do.
