Good day for food

Mar 28, 2006 18:10

Today was good even though it rained all morning. *sigh* I even got my new shoes all soggy. Anyways...good day because 1)I got called for an interview to work. I'm so happy that I might get it, even if it's just at a food place. Any tips on what I should say? 2) And I made fruit pizza today! Ohhhhh, its so good!

Wow, your mac & cheese looks completely different from my mac & cheese! Yours looks like it has more noodles and less cheesey-filling, also my cheesy-filling was a lot lighter. I wonder if it's because you used cream cheese instead of sour cream - or if it's because you made a half recipe and I made a whole recipe?

Your fruit pizza looks like a fruit tarte - it looks yummy (except for the crust, because I don't generally like crust). You could add green with some kiwi (if you like kiwi) or a sprig of fresh mint. What's that in the center - are those grapes?

I ended up getting a burrito today instead of making tuna casserole. I guess once all the burritos leftovers are gone (it's a huge burrito), then I'll make the tuna casserole.

lol, that's cool that they were different. You wouldn't think a recipe could do that. But I guess with different types of milk and me changing to cream cheese it could. Oh, and the filling was lighter, that's just my crust part *my favorite*.

See I wanted to do kiwi on it but I'm making this for a group and I wanted to stick with things most people would like. I didn't put any berries on there either, too. lol, pears are in the center, I didn't even really think about putting grapes on. That sounds good.

that's just my crust part
You sprinkled cheese on the top, right? My top got very brown though, but the inside was very pale (no bright cheddar-orange bits in sight). I do think mine needed, probably, another cup of noodles.

I think I'm gonna make tuna chicken casserole tomorrow - so easy and, I think, pretty healthy (basically, chicken, cream-of-something soup, and noodles).

I hope your group liked their fruit pizza - lucky bastards! Berries would have been good - blueberries or blackberries would have add some nice color - and I see kiwi a lot of fruit tarts, and if you slice them thin maybe the taste wouldn't be very strong - but, better to play it safe.

I got a 236 in archery on thursday!

YAY!!

I was so distracted by the pictures of food that I forgot to comment on this. What a relief to have exceeded your goal already - plus, omg 236! Your success makes me want to do archery again.

(Also, I just saw at that "Avatar" is out on DVD, so I'm going to try to rent it.)

hehe, I'm thinking about doing the intermediate class next term. He said it was a smaller class *taught by our coach who is the olympic coach* and they use better bows. If I can fit it in, I think it'll be fun.

Ahhh I got so excited when I saw those dvds, but alas they are just four episodes a disk. They're definitely worth renting though for you to check out if you can't catch it on tv!

The intermediate archery class could be way cool, especially if it's smaller and you get an Olympic coach - awesome! I gotta find a place around here to do archery; I liked it, but never got to do it for more than a few weeks.

As for the DVDs, I thought I'd rent them - I just can't seem to catch the show on Nick, and this way I can check out the program at my leisure.
