Unabridged audiobooks count as being read. Just because you listened to them doesn't mean you didn't get the benefit of the literary value of the book.

However, if it was abridged... you missed out on a lot. I don't like how people abridge books... sometimes the story is in the details :-)

Oooh, it wasn't until I saw your list that I read step #3 about underlining. I may go back and edit my post now, lots to underline :)

Nice list, I'd say you're an accomplished reader.

Looking over your italicized entries, I'd suggest Memoirs of a Geisha and the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy among your next read. Memoirs is quick, Hitchhiker's is too much fun :D (Though it's the 4th book "in the increasingly miss-named Hitchhiker's Trilogy" (to use Adams' own words) - So Long and Thanks for all the Fish - which is my favorite of those.)

I loved Memoirs in the movies, it is on my list near the top ;-) Same with Hitchhiker's. Thanks for suggestion, I will push them up the list farther ;-) I work with books so I have a whole lot of books on my list to read :-D

I did mine! :-) Interesting list of books. Some I would never read and they left some off the list that *I* would consider more important. I know that they said that size didn't matter but I think they cheated with LOTR and Harry Potter. Those are all separate books. :-)
