I finally got around to seeing The Curse of the Golden Flower. OMG, it was a HORRIBLE movie!! It was just so utterly depressing! *scrubs brain*

I enjoyed it, though not as much as Hero or Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon or House of Flying Daggers... all of which were depressing too.

That's Chinese film for ya!

In fact of all of those, if I remember correctly, Crouching Tiger didn't do as well in China... and it was also the least depressing of all of them. Hmm.
