OMGGGGG *falls over* I wrote almost two thousand words yesterday, and still not done. I need like, a scene and a half and I know kind of vaguely what needs to happen there but I have writers block like woah. Luckily brainmissing agreed to do a lightning fast beta for me today. Agh agh, this is why I don't write more, it makes me CRAZY. XD

(sleep is for the weak, you gaiz. And people who aren't working full time and trying to pack for college. Also probably people who didn't procrastinate on their writing assignments. >.<)

Why the move to Dreamwidth?

I've actually had a dw for aaaages, haha, but I'm going to try to actually use it now. I like it a lot for a few reasons which basically boil down to features and atmosphere. Awesome features include complete lack of ads and EXPANDING CUTS OMG, which I never knew I wanted until they were suddenly there and now I'm always vaguely sad when lj doesn't have them. XD Also, Dreamwidth just feels very friendly and cozy to me, idk.

I still like lj and I'm not leaving - I'm hoping to maintain an equal presence on both sites, actually. It's a lot easier to crosspost from dw to lj than the other way around, thus the move. :)

Aaah, I see. I asked because just before you posted this someone else posted about some mass exodus of LJ users over to DW (isn't it all paid accounts too? If so then you better use it!), so I didn't know if your move had something to do with that.

Also, expanding cuts sounds nice. :D

No, definitely not all paid! There are some features which are paid account only just like lj, though. You do have to have an invite code to get a dw account, but those are pretty easy to find. I have some if you want one, plus there's a whole comm devoted to giving them away. :)

hm, a bunch of people are moving to dw, but I think most of them are keeping their lj accounts like I am.
