TVShowsOnDVD.com: ReGenesis is finally coming to R1 DVD. So far only in Canada, but if I get tired of waiting on the US to catch up, Amazon.ca takes my credit card just fine. *g*

I hadn't known until recently 11th hour was also a UK export.

I find your review of LoM interesting. I've never seen the UK version, and was fascinated by the US pilot--finding it intriguing.

Kietel was a bit of an irritant, but I was amused by the callback to those seventies cop shows my dad watched religiously. I'll watch again for sure.

That was supposed to be Colm Meaney?! Aw!

Well Harvey Keitel is supposedly a bigger name (moviestar, you know), but...eh.

That would've been cool to be Chief O'Brien!

Colm was in the orignal pilot filmed. From what I understand, it was more of an "inspired by" thing and not a direct take from the UK script with minor adjustments for language (a "cell" versus a "mobile").

Keitel is probably a bigger name for the general audience, but with it being a genre show, it looks like they'd want someone to draw in the genre audience.

Is it just me, or are we seeing a lot more "movie stars" on the small screen? Seems like you can't go a night without a big name either starring or guest starring in a tv show.
