I'm still around... still happy in my relationship, which has many discussions, some deep ones, some emotional ones, but never any arguments

I think there was a beer I was going to tell you that you needed to try next time you're in Ireland, but I forget what it was. It's possible that when I posted about it on FB that I was specific enough that I can go look up on my FB. It's a Guinness family porter that I tried while I was at their storehouse, but I don't remember the specifics until I look it up :-)
Also I got into a discussion with a couple of my cousins a couple of weeks ago about sake. Does that sake distillery in Toronto do the tasting events more than once a year, or is it just the one in May? Is it always the last Thursday in May? Apparently next time that event is on, I'm supposed to come up and attend (and drag them along, and visit them in the process).
Oh, I have definitely heard of the Guinness family porter exclusive to Ireland. Will have to wait...
The Toronto sake brewery (they don't distill anything) does that giant festival once a year, always the last Thursday in May. It would be great to have you along!
Hey, Niall! Good to hear from you again. Glad to hear you're okay on the job front since it's been a pretty uncertain time in this town lately. Hope the dicey stuff isn't too dicey!
Did you go to the Animation Festival this year? I was pretty busy with the folk festival, so I only saw 3 short competition shows. Seems they were more heavily weighted towards longer and more serious fare this year with fewer segments per show.
Due to that dicey affair, I had to miss all of the animation festival, a first since 1996. pout. Even last year I only managed one feature and three short competitions...
