Ok sounds good.
Probably just me - I wanted to drag the WhimsicalOne along (she had previously expressed interest, came to one of the sake tastings and liked your friends, and her beer taste runs mostly to porters/stouts) but I don't think she'll be free: another friend of ours had asked us about a girls' night out on April 10th, and I temporized until I knew what night the beer tasting was and theWhimsicalOne told her that she was already busy the 10th.
Two questions:
1) Would it be possible to make the chili "Beable friendly" by not including pork?
2) I have another friend who expressed interest because she overheard me and TheWhimsicalOne talking about the beer tasting. I don't think she knows a lot about beers to begin with, and may not be the target audience, but would it be ok to invite her?

My previous chili did not have pork, and I do not expect to have any in this one either - I can either skip the sausage, or find a non-pork one. Otherwise it's mainly steak, ground beef, beans and select veggies.
