Some pretty pictures

Recently I had inspiration to set up all my miscellaneous pictures of flowers I had taken over the years into one photobucket gallery (thanks to shoebox for the impetus!). I'm not sure where this obsession of mine came from, but if I have a camera in hand it is physically impossible for me to pass by a beautiful flower without snapping a picture.

Lovely! [she says, having finally gotten a chance at serious computer time after a week's vacation]. Nice to be the inspiration for such a cool project.

I especially like the flowering cacti and the other exotica - the lighting on that bird-of-paradise shot is exquisite. The single rose is gorgeous, too.
