[ooc: This totally went up a few days ago. Really. You're seeing things.]The home of Ken, Aya, and Sena hadn't really seen much activity over the last few weeks. It would seem that Aya is just getting back from a very long night at work, but he's just in time for Ken's improvised birthday party. The House is insistent about this kind of thing. It would almost be charming if it wasn't weird as hell.

He looks very annoyed at having to pick confetti out of his hair. It'll take days to get rid of all that glitter.

Or annoying. Any other Ken would be cursing and flipping off the house, but Ken settles for just shaking his rather shaggy hair in an attempt to get some of the confetti out.

"I hope you're not expecting us to clean this up!" he says, at nothing in particular.

Aya studies him for a minute, just barely managing not to crack a smile at the confetti in his hair. He has an image to maintain, and smiling too much wouldn't be good for it.

"Happy birthday." While his tone may be slightly deadpan, due to the restrained amusement, he's otherwise perfectly sincere.

Well, now that there's a second wave of confetti and streamers falling on Ken's head, Aya might have an even harder time not smiling.

"...God damn it," Ken curses, glaring up at the ceiling. "The confetti was more than enough!"

"Thanks." He hadn't been planning on doing anything for it, but it seemed the house didn't want any of that idea.
