Nexus portals can be quite sneaky when they want to. This one seems to have been especially so, having apparently picked Omi (or more properly Bombay) up mid-mission. In fact, it seems to have caught him up without his even having walked into it. What a sneaky portal indeed.
"-ull out. Almost done. Bombay out." He doesn't seem to notice the change in scenery immediately, crouched as he is over his laptop and talking into his headset, crossbow close at hand next to his leg. Neither electronic device seems to immediately notice the sudden change, although the computer obviously suffers some glitch as Omi frowns at it. He types quickly, the last few commands he needs to finish wiping the system he'd been hacking. Then the last effects of the portal seem to wear off, and the computer beeps to alert him to the sudden disconnect.
Which is when Omi notices that he's not in Kansas anymore in the Nexus.
