I'm in such a content mood~ Most of you can figure that is a very rare thing for me. My folks just left this morning to go to a wedding a couple hours away, and will be staying there until tomorrow. That means it's just my one brother and I in the house. It's amazing how, when the two of them leave you can actually feel the stress and weight ( Read more... )

Excellent choice! haha I just finished getting 100% on it (I'm a completionist slave to my trophies and spreadsheets of collectibles V.V). It is a gorgeous game, and has a touching story. Keep a box of tissues nearby for chapters 4 and 5. My first playthrough only took maybe 6 hours total, and replayability is low, so I'm not sure I'd pay full price, personally, but if it goes on sale, definitely consider picking it up!

How on earth do you have the patience to get all of the trophies? I often try and get them if I have a second playthrough of something but some are just too difficult (tempted to have a replay of Half Life 2 and take the gnome through the game though)!

The satisfaction of seeing a fully completed spreadsheet~~~ I'm only half-joking X) But a good number of single-player games usually have trophies you can get either through a second playthrough or some extra time spent. I play a lot of single player games, and I also listen to things on Netflix while I play some games, so it helps me not get too bored if a game gets grindy. If it has a great story I won't watch anything, but if I am spending a lot of time leveling up, or playing a game that doesn't have much of a story (like puzzle games) then I will.
