Figured I would make a small post. Not much has really changed for me. Regarding job hunting, I have a small lead at the company my mother works for. I applied for a couple positions. One was customer service, which I was shot down for (turns out two days after I got the "no thanks" email they put the post back up. A+ guys). Last week I applied for ( Read more... )

The dogs were being fed Pedigree weight management food (let the irony sink in for a moment), but the people fed them with a "grazing method" as they put it. Basically, the food bowls were always supposed to be full and the dogs could help themselves. With some dogs, they can self regulate, but most dogs don't. It is instinct to scarf down food until they are full, and the moment they start feeling the slightest bit hungry they scarf down more, which is exactly what one of these dogs did. The other is probably similar (he wasn't eating much while I was there. It's a common stress response when their family is away.).

That's pretty amusing that you guys had dated before and found each other later on!

I don't like most comedy from recent years. They seem to be focusing more on making a statement while not offending anyone, and the humor gets lost in the background. I am enjoying Cheers, though.

It's tough not doing well in the job arena. When I was graduating/graduated, it took a while (I thought) for me to find a job in a field that has like 5% unemployment. So it does make you feel worthless. I eventually took a temp job which turned into a full time job but it wasn't what I dreamed about when I was in school ( ... )

Good luck with the job search! I'm looking for a job in my field as well. It can be really discouraging. Something will work out!
