Hey everyone! Sorry I went MIA for a while. I officially graduated with my Bachelors in Equine Science! I passed with As in all of my classes except one, where I got a B+. That last week was very stressful, but the final weekend was nice. I worked at Garden State Horse Show that Friday and Saturday (5/5-6), and it was a great experience. On that

Heh, ok, so it sounds rather rude calling it that, but it was the only way I could think to describe it. It was all rap with barely a bass line for a beat, and lyrics about "f-ing hos" and doing every drug imaginable and partying. I mean, if it at least had a beat to dance to I wouldn't have minded so much and would have been able to not be horribly offended by the words, but it honestly sounded like the DJ just put in a cd by one artist and let it play.
I found two more of his siblings in there today! I named them Terry and Rudy, and put them at the same spot I left Terrance. I really wanted to keep them, but I don't have anywhere for them, unfortunately. I may try to put in a small turtle pool this summer so I have a place for them. I also want to put mesh around the bottom of the fence. The fence keeps rabbits and the like out from the pool area, but does nothing to stop the poor little turtles, and I really don't want them getting into the filter, for their own sake.

Congrats on graduation; what are you plans now? I remember you spoke of interviews; did they pan out?

Thank you! The interviews never went anywhere. I had a few phone interviews and never got a call back to schedule any in-person interviews. Sigh. At the moment, I am trying to de-stress and unpack. My family moved into this new house less than a week before I started school in NJ, so I've basically been living out of three trunks for the last two years. I plan to start properly job hunting after Memorial Day. I am thinking of finding an office job for a while, to save up money, since most barns don't provide health insurance to their employees. I would enjoy being a secretary, I think. I love organizing and scheduling and reorganizing things~ haha

And it often takes time. I was stressed and unhappy that I didn't have a job lined up after college, but I eventually found something that was okay. So relaxing for a bit and having different plans is good.

As if someone offered to give you a horse for free! Bit of a shame that you can't take it really.

Oh how I wish I could. I would love a project horse. I could train it up and make a fair amount teaching lessons on it. Or, you know, keep it for myself, haha.
