I wish I could say that I had been abducted by aliens to fight as their champion in an intergalactic battle on whose fate the very fabric of existence rested. Obviously, if I had, then my return to you now, where you have continued to live with nary a ripple in the space-time

I'm not sure what an alpha tenor is, but I'm reading a bunch of steam-punk victorian novels that includes werewolves and vampires, and alpha tenor makes me think of a guy who belts out songs in tenor, and makes every other tenor (possibly the entire choir) roll over and bare their necks.

And sprouts hair at every full moon, yet looks utterly dignified and completely sophisticated while doing it. In a suit.

Huh, that'd be an interesting approach. Mostly it means the tenors lacked (until I joined the section) a person who had a strong voice and a really clear sense of rhythm and pitch. They were all trying to follow each other, and none of them were ever really solid on their notes.

Wow, thanks for the update! Out of everything, getting the house sounds like the greatest news.
Also your initials are the coolest ever. I'm stuck with dowdy old MEG. Although, my little sister has ICG, which sounds like Icy-G. But yes, ZAM takes the cake.
