I seem to have lost the zest for writing here. No, wait, I've never had a lot of zest to begin with. Yes. That sounds more true. If that's the case, though, why do I write? Obviously I must have some zest, some drive, some source of inspiration that motivates me. Yes. That also seems true. Quite a bit, actually, which puts the lie to that first

I've been going through something very similar lately with respect to posting on lj. I want to post and keep up with my friends on here, but somehow I lose my will to actually post if I try to sit down and do it. And making it a chore doesn't help any. I'm curious to see what you decide--I've been trying to post more, but I don't know how long that will last. I will be curious to see what you decide/what your further thoughts are.

Also, I am very jealous of your trip. I have always wanted to go to Scotland, but never made it.
