I learned the word cyclothymic from the King Crimson song Three of a Perfect Pair. Specifically from the lyric
He has his contradicting views
She has her cyclothymic moods
They make a study in despair
Three of a perfect pair
It's an awesome word. Evidently it has a clinical definition, something akin to bipolar disorder, only less extreme

The role of prayer? I pray a lot these days. Its a form of positive intention that emanates as sound waves out of my mouth. Interestingly, everything in nature is sound if you think about it from the viewpoint of frequency and waves. So when I pray, I am changing the frequency and vibration of the waves of which I am composed, so is it really that odd that it has an impact?

The book "the world is sound: nada brahma" explains the concept quite well... it gives a foundation upon which I muse about such things.
