I woke up wondering what it must be like to know, deep down, that you are loved and wanted and deserve the life you have. Now wait, before you go, "OMG Nezu's emo, let's read something else," I'm not, really; I was thinking about this in terms of characters I'm writing. OK, maybe it's a little emo at its roots, but really this isn't about emo so

In one of my classes, we read an overview of the current state of psychology and the overall models and theories. One of the more insightful comments by the author was that they now know that there is no such thing as normal. Humans never stop growing and changing. When we stop is when we have problems. Yet our culture says one day we shall 'grow up' which implies we stop. Nothing like mixed messages to feed a little doubt....
